I posted this a few hours early so you can sleep on what I’m about to say, and maybe you can reflect on this.
I rarely get mad, or speak my mind for that matter if I see something wrong. People say I shouldn’t let people slide. And they are right. Yesterday was the first time I openly yelled at a group. For that, I apologize.
But I’m not sorry. I’M SO SICK OF THIS. Jess is sick of it, Mastro is sick of it, and The Sheik is sick of it. Standards are standards people. I demonstrated all of the proper standards with every single class and to see people not demonstrate the same standards is just piss poor. People work their asses off to get to where they’ve gotten. And some of you have the audacity to not respect that? Give me a break. You have to have some ego to: a.) see the standards demonstrated properly; b.) then practice the standards properly; and c.) then FAIL to demonstrate the standards when it’s time for the workout. This is not the place for that and it’s not welcome. People are actually competing for these workouts. Oh you got more reps than the other guy/girl next to you? Congratuf*%#inglations. I have a helluva lot more respect for the person who landed every rep properly than your non-legit ass. Have some respect, leave your ego at the door, and clean it up. This should apply to every single workout.
And when I see you, I don’t want to hear, “Dave, were you talking about me in that post?!?!?!?!?!” If you think you’re guilty, chances are you are guilty.
OK I’m not mad anymore. I just want you all to succeed.
